David (Dave) started Orbis Institute over 25 years ago and served as Chairman of the Board for many years. He was born in Denver and attended The University of Colorado with a degree in History and Political Science. He was drafted into the US Army and served one year in Vietnam as a counterintelligence officer. Dave has traveled to over 25 countries and has a keen interest in international relations. His career has been in Commercial Real Estate and was the Developer of the Colorado Convention Center and the D&F Tower in Downtown Denver. He has served on many non-profit Boards and has a deep interest in Mental Health and assisting marginalized communities.
